What are savings groups?

Many savings groups’ initiatives are born locally, in a decentralized manner, and stem from long-standing cultural practices. Savings clubs, mutual aid groups, rotating savings and credit associations, and cumulative savings and credit associations are examples of methodologies and practices commonly found in various Latin American and Caribbean countries.
