Mercy Corps AgriFin Mobile Program has been working in Indonesia, Uganda and Zimbabwe on establishing models where farm and crop management tools and financial services are ‘bundled’ in affordable, unified platforms on digital channels to promote mass commercial uptake. This study assesses the current situation in Uganda with regards to uptake of mobile devices and services, and how policy is impacting adoption.
