The Empowering Female Ghanaian Youth in STEM: Unlocking Opportunities for a Thriving Career in Fintech webinar was designed for young Ghanaian women with a STEM background who are eager to explore and build careers in Fintech. On 5 December 2024, this webinar provided insights and guidance to support their transition into this dynamic and high-impact field with the Digital Frontiers Institute Young Women in STEM Journey. 

The session delved into essential skills and career pathways within Fintech that drive innovation, enhance financial inclusion, and create lasting employment opportunities. We unpacked the Digital Frontiers Institute Young Women in STEM Journey consisting of 5 transformative courses offered on a full scholarship for young Ghanaian women with a background in STEM. These courses are designed to equip the next generation of young Ghanaian women with skills and connections for the future job market in Fintech and Digital Financial Services. Through an interactive format, attendees gained valuable insights into the job market’s realities, heard from inspiring trailblazers in STEM and Fintech fields, as well as learn more about the exciting internship programme.
