Understanding and navigating fintech regulations, and making the best use of regtech innovations, is a necessity for many digital finance professionals.

Developed in conjunction with the University of New South Wales, this course provides an overview of the elements which together constitute an enabling environment for inclusive digital financial services: policy, regulation and institutional capacity. It will focus on unpacking and understanding the core enablers required for digital financial inclusion which have been recognized across a range of jurisdictions during the past decade, focusing especially on the issues relevant to digital payments: regulating e-money, digital channels for financial services, consumer protection, competition and anti-money money laundering compliance issues.
