Introducing the DFI Masterclass 

Digital Frontiers Institute launched its masterclasses and we were thrilled to host our very first masterclass focused on Gender Equality.

During this masterclass on 4 April 2024 at 09:00 – 11:00 SAST hosted by Vuyisa Mamanzi from the Center for Sexuality, Aids and Gender at the University of Pretoria, you explored why gender, gender equality and gender equity matter today in the workplace as well as learned more about current workplace interventions that aim to reduce gender gaps. Attendees were given an overview of what the GEC programme offers to address workplace inequality and how we hope to make an impact by training a broad spectrum of professionals on what gender equality is, why it’s essential to address it, and providing skills and tools to design, initiate and implement gender equity change projects.
