In light of the insurtech trends, Cenfri wanted to understand to what extent insurtechs in emerging markets are able to better serve the customer and provide more value to both the insurer and the end-user

The initial work considered insurtech in microinsurance, types of insurtechs which are prevalent in emerging markets and the challenges they were solving. This research resulted in further exploration of insurtech trends in emerging markets and the development of our insurtech tracker, which was updated in June 2019. This database provides an opportunity to explore and gain insight into country-specific data.
